Subscription Terms

1. Parties and products

These Terms apply to paid subscriptions for HomeCheff Growth and HomeCheff Studio offered through the HomeCheff ecosystem.

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe on the HomeCheff central Stripe platform. Payment processing is performed by Stripe; HomeCheff does not store full card numbers.

2. Recurring billing

Growth and Studio subscriptions renew automatically each billing interval (monthly unless a different interval is shown at checkout).

The price, interval, and included HomeCheff Credits (HC) for the selected plan are shown before you confirm payment.

By completing Checkout you authorize recurring charges for successive periods until you cancel.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid period (cancel at period end).

You keep access to paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.

You may reverse a pending cancellation before the period ends where the product billing UI supports reactivation.

After the paid period ends, paid entitlement ends. Your account data and projects are retained subject to our retention practices; they are not deleted solely because you cancelled.

4. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, no new HC grant is issued for that unpaid invoice.

We may allow a short grace period (typically up to three days) while payment recovery is attempted. Continued non-payment can lead to loss of paid entitlement.

If the same invoice is later paid successfully, the normal cycle HC for that invoice is granted at most once.

5. HomeCheff Credits (HC)

HC is an ecosystem credit/unit used for eligible HomeCheff product actions. HC is not cash, not a bank deposit, not stored money, and not a guaranteed withdrawable balance.

Where buyer purchasing power is communicated for eligible marketplace spend, 100 HC corresponds to €1 of purchasing power. That equivalence describes in-product purchasing power only.

Subscription HC grants are PLATFORM_ONLY unless an offer expressly states otherwise. PLATFORM_ONLY HC may be used for eligible Growth/Studio/platform actions and is not spendable as marketplace HC_ONLY purchasing power.

HC granted for a paid period generally accumulates in your wallet. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically claw back HC that was already legitimately granted.

Marketplace HC, meal/restricted credits, and organization-funded HC (where offered) may have additional eligibility rules shown in product.

6. Plan changes

Upgrades may take effect immediately. Stripe may charge a prorated monetary difference. Additional HC for an upgrade, where granted, is proportional to the remaining billing period and is not a second full monthly grant.

Downgrades take effect from the next renewal. Already granted HC is not clawed back solely because of a downgrade.

7. Refunds and disputes

Refund requests are handled under applicable consumer law and our support process. Unused HC associated with a refunded grant may be reversed. If HC was already spent, we may record a recovery/debt state rather than creating a misleading negative cash-like wallet.

Chargebacks/disputes may result in suspension of paid entitlement pending review. HC is not automatically clawed back in an unsafe or unaudited way solely because a dispute is opened.

Statutory consumer rights that apply to you are not limited by these Terms.

8. Marketplace seller fees (HomeCheff)

Where you sell on the HomeCheff marketplace, platform fees may apply. The fee applicable to an order is determined at order time and recorded in an immutable fee snapshot for that order.

Default fee rates may be modified by eligible Seller Partner Programs (for example geography, category, invite, or time-bound programs). Program rates can differ (including lower fees). Historical order snapshots do not change after the order is finalized.

Seller payout rights, where applicable, arise from eligible marketplace settlement/exposure after successful platform transfer—not because HC itself is generally redeemable for cash.
